My Name's Meaning and Ganesha Bhagwan's Story

Mihir, my dad, means the Sun. Anshul, my elder brother, means first ray of the sun. Saurin, a name chosen by my grandmother, means everything related to the sun. The reason why my parents chose this as my name was because of the meaning it has with my family and that my parents and grandma thought it had a nice ring to it. It was based from a Sanskrit word. My mom liked Sahil, but because it had no meaning to my family, my dad liked Saurin better than Sahil.

Ganesha Bhagwan:

Shiva came from jungle and Ganesha, their son, was guarding the door while Paravti was bathing. Shiva wanted to see Parvati and Ganesha did not allow him to get inside and Shiva became very angry. He chopped off Ganesha's head. When Parvati came out she explained to Shiva that she had told Ganesha to not let anyone in no matter what. She has him how could you do this to our child. She wanted him to repent or fix the situation. The first living creature – an elephant, crossed the path of Shiva in the jungle, and he chopped off thehead and placed it on his beheaded son.
